Gymnastics

We had an awesome time at gymnastics learning more and more forms or gymnastics from coach Zade.

The forms we learnt were the Tuck sit, Motorbike landing, Angry cat, Happy cat, Straddle and L sit. We played a game where we passed a ball in a tuck sit position using our feet. I felt normal doing this like it was not the first time I did gymnastics.

Its was also lots of fun.

We did not do this but this is what real gymnastics looks like.

Mud run

Splash Splash Splash! as the mud splatters all over my body, I am drenched in mud soaking wet I find my friend and we descend up the mountain as our legs give way, As we reach the top their is a school full of kids packed at the top of the mountain waiting to get over the coarse, We it is my turn I climb and jump straight over and make a break for it. I see running down the mountain that the little kids are let in through a fence to this coarse where you have to crawl under bu their are only 4 tunnels so I run my heart out ad make it in time climbing through and finishing the race with my friend.

Math groups

This week for math we were separated into 4 groups, I was in a group of nine. Me and my group had to split a pizza evenly between us. So we know that 100% of a pizza is well the whole entire pizza so we gave each person 10% of the pizza and we had 10% of the pizza left so took 9% of the 10% out and split the 9 into 9 pieces so that we have 1% and we game that to each of the nine people in my group. The with the one percent we split it into 10 pieces so it would be 0.1 and gave 0.1 to all nine of us in the group, There was 0.1 percent so well, one of us just ate it.Pizza Hut Makes One of Its Biggest Acquisitions Ever | QSR magazine

Data

Today with Mrs Tofa we learnt about data. She explained to us by giving us an example. First we rearranged the numbers from smallest to biggest and found the mean.
( mean ) which basically stands for average.  ( Median ) which stands for middle. and ( Mode ) Which stands for Most occurring. I pulsed all the numbers to gather and got 159 the n I decided the amount of numbers their were with 159 and got=14.45

Today at technology with Mrs Ferguson we coded micro-bits. We coded the micro-bits to mimic a dice, we coded the micro-bit to show different numbers on the dice by shaking the micro-bit. After coding the micro-bit to mimic a dice we coded the micro-bit to count our steps, we had to try many ways, first we coded the micro-bit to count only when one of our legs move, we achieved this by placing the micro-bits in our socks an walking. we had to do this many times and debug the micro-bit but it was all worth it.

Here is my code.

Coding with Python

Today at tech we used Python, Miss Ferguson gave us a micro-bit as a testing device and gave us a tutorial on how to use Python. We used python to create a mini Heart. When we were done with that we coded the micro-bit to play paper, rock, and scissors the whole class played, ( I  placed first, to lose.) After that Miss Ferguson let us do more coding, (I made a Pacman) we had so much fun coding with Miss Ferguson.

Here is my code for the small beating heart:

Maths problem solving

You are making a fruit salad and need 2/3 of a cup of passion fruit. You have a 1/2, 1/4 and a ⅙ sized measuring cup. How will you measure the passion fruit?

⅙ because 2 times 3 = 6

2 times 2 = 4

4/6 is the answer and to check if it's correct just divide it back.

4 divided by 2 = 2

6 divided by 2 = 3

Which brings us back to ⅔
